Watson Horse Farm is a privately owned, quiet 250 acre facility located just 40 minutes east of Columbus in Newark, Ohio. Over the years, we have thoughtfully created a small slice of heaven—for both the horses who live here and the people who love them. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush green pastures, the farm offers over 170 acres designed with the horse’s well-being in mind. Our fields are enclosed with Ramm horse-safe fencing and supported by automatic waterers in both pastures and stalls, allowing for a safe, consistent, and low-stress environment. ​ At Watson Horse Farm, our approach is simple: no two horses are managed the same. Each horse receives individualized care based on their specific needs, routine, and overall well-being. Whether enjoying retirement or simply slowing down, each horse here is managed as an individual—with care tailored to their needs, comfort, and quality of life. ​ Friesians have long been a passion of ours. With decades of experience, we have bred, raised, and developed each of our Friesians right here on the farm—from birth through maturity. Being able to work with them daily has given us a deep understanding of their personalities, allowing us to truly know each horse inside and out. Their presence here is something we value deeply, but they are just one part of what makes this farm so special
